소동물 구역 케이지 배정에 대해 안내 드립니다.

1. 아래 케이지 배정 방안은 소동물구역 케이지 운영에만 적용하며,
그 외 구역은 연구자의 요청과 현황에 따라 유연성 있게 운영함
2. 케이지 사용률을 분기별 산정하여 70% 이하 사용 시 미사용분 100%를 회수
(실사용량의 10%까지 여유분 고려하여 회수)
3. 케이지 재배정의 세부 기준
– 연구자 요청 시 수시 재배정: 케이지 요청 시 연구자는 IACUC 승인 정보 제출
(승인 번호, 실험 기간, 동물 사용량, 현재 케이지 보유량, 추가 케이지 수요량 등)
– 수요자가 많을 시 수요량에 비해 현재 보유량의 비율이 낮은 연구 건, 신임 교원
등을 우선 순위로 배정
– 새로 배정받은 케이지 수량도 분기별 사용률 산정 시 동일하게 적용하여
70% 미만 사용 시 회수 대상에 포함

We would like to inform you of the cage allocation policy for the small animal zone.
Please review the following carefully and ensure proper compliance.

1. The following cage allocation policy applies only to the operation of cages in         the small animal zone.
Other areas will be managed flexibly based on researchers’ requests and                 current conditions.
2. Cage utilization rates will be calculated on a quarterly basis.
If the utilization rate is 70% or below, 100% of the unused cages will be                    retrieved(with up to 10% of actual usage considered as a buffer).
3. Detailed criteria for cage reallocation:
– Ad hoc reallocation upon researcher request:
When requesting cages, researchers must submit IACUC approval information
(approval number, experimental period, number of animals used, current               number of cages held, additional cage requirements, etc.).
– Priority criteria when demand is high:
Priority will be given to research projects with a lower ratio of current cage           holdings relative to their requested demand,
as well as to newly appointed faculty members.
– Newly allocated cages will also be included in the quarterly utilization rate             calculation(If their utilization rate falls below 70%, they will be subject to               retrieval).
