연구자분들의 편의를 위해
2025년 9월 1일부터 IACUC 동물실험계획서 경미한 변경 승인 절차가 변경되므로 안내합니다.

[동물보호법] 개정에 따라 동물실험계획서 변경 심의 신청 시
농림축산식품부령으로 정하는 경미한 변경의 경우에는 지정된 전문위원의 검토를 거친 후 위원장의 승인을 받게 됩니다.
따라서, 변경 심의 기간이 단축되오니 아래 내용을 참고하여 진행하시면 됩니다.

1. 경미한 변경 기준
가. 농림축산식품부령으로 정하는 중요사항을 제외한 변경 사항 (위원회 판단에 따라 예외 발생 가능)
나. 농림축산식품부령으로 정하는 중요사항

1) 동물실험 연구책임자를 변경하는 경우
2) 실험동물 종(種)을 추가하거나 변경하는 경우
3) 고통등급을 D 또는 E등급으로 상향하는 경우
4) 그 밖에 승인받은 실험동물 사용 마릿수가 증가하는 경우 등 윤리위원회에서 필요하다고 인정하는 경우

2. 시행 시기: 2025년 9월 1일 부터
3. 시행 일정: 매월 1~5일 접수, 16~30일 심사 후 결과 통보
4. 기존 변경신청 절차와 동일하나, 신청글 제목을 [경미한 변경 신청]으로 작정해 주시기 바랍니다.

For the convenience of researchers, please be informed that starting September 1, 2025, the approval procedures for minor modifications to IACUC animal use protocols will be changed.

According to the revised Animal Protection Act, in the case of minor modifications as prescribed by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the application for protocol amendment will be reviewed by a designated specialist, followed by approval from the Chairperson.
This change will shorten the review period for such amendments, so please refer to the details below when proceeding.

1. Criteria for Minor Modifications
a. Changes other than those deemed as major items prescribed by the Ordinance of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (exceptions may apply as determined by the Committee).
b. Major items as prescribed by the Ordinance:

1). Change of the Principal Investigator (PI) for the animal experiment.
2). Addition or change of experimental animal species.
3). Upgrading the pain category to Grade D or E.
4). Other cases recognized by the Ethics Committee as necessary, such as an increase in the approved number of animals to be used.

2. Effective Date: September 1, 2025

3. Processing Schedule:
a. Application Reception: 1st–5th of each month
b. Review Period: 16th–30th of each month, followed by notification of results

4. Application Method:
The procedure is the same as the existing protocol amendment process; however, please indicate [Minor Modification Application] in the application title.
(If not indicated, the application will be processed as a regular review.)
