연구지원본부 방사광활용연구실에서 알려드립니다.

포항가속기연구소에 위치한 UNIST 빔라인 (6D UNIST-PAL)의 2016년 1분기 빔타임 (2016-02-16 ~ 2016-05-05) 배정에 대한 안내를 드립니다.
빔라인을 사용하시고자 하시는 교수님들께서는 아래 내용을 참조하시어 빔타임 제안서 (첨부파일)를 작성하셔서 제출해 주시길 바랍니다.

1. 빔타임은 첨부한 달력의 파란색으로 표시된 날이므로 제안서 작성시 참고하시기 바랍니다.
2. 실험 모드는 XAFS, SAXS, GI-SAXS, WAXD, GI-WAXD, powder X-ray Diffraction, Protein crystallography, Supramolecular Crystallography이며, 상세 실험모드는 첨부파일을 참고하시길 바랍니다.
3. 제안서는 이메일로 제출 (연구지원본부 강민우[email protected])해 주시길 바라며 (영어작성), 제출 마감시한은 2015년 12월31일 (목)까지 입니다. 빔타임 배정 통보 예상일은 2016년 1월 14일 (목) 입니다.
4. 기타 상세한 실험관련 문의는 신태주 교수 ([email protected], 010-6434-4684)에게 하시길 바랍니다.

Dear Professors at UNIST,
We have an announcement regarding submission of synchrotron radiation beamtime proposal.
The Professors who would like to use UNIST-PAL beamline, located in 6D port of Pohang Accelerator Laboratory, should refer to the information below to complete “Beamtime Proposal (attachment)”.
1. The attached “Beamtime Proposal” is for the 1st Run of 2016 (Feb. 16 – May 5). Colored in blue in the attached “2016 PLS-IIOperation Schedule” is the user beamtime.
2. Experimental modes are to be supported as follows and please refer more detailed experiments at the attached file.
– XAFS: 5 – 20 keV
– SAXS & GI-SAXS: SDDmax: 3.5 m, Dmax: 150 nm
– WAXD/GI-WAXD
– Powder X-ray Diffraction
– Protein & Supramolecular CrystallographyBeamtime_Proposal_3rd_2015
3. The proposal deadline is Dec. 31st (Thu), 2015, and it should be submitted by email to Min Woo Kang at UCRF ([email protected]).
Beam time allocation results will be posted on Jan. 14th (Thu), 2016.
